Will Oldham es uno de esos prolíficos cantantes que, oculto tras múltiples proyectos y máscaras, le basta con lo suyo, componer y cantar. Humilde y austero, viviendo a la vera de su guitarra, guarda en el cajón años de buenas críticas que nunca le alimentarán ni el ego, ni la tripa. Con ese extraño don artesano de saber fabricar grandes canciones que siempre parecen pequeñas. Aquí la lectura de Palace Brothers a cargo de Soulsavers y Mark Lanegan. No se trata de complicar, basta que los que manejan las claves del circo, le den al lamento el tono solemene y teatral que tan bien le cuadra a la poderosa voz de Lanegan.
